Update: Check out my review of the iPhone app itself HERE.
Despite no one weighing in on DirectTV in my earlier blog post I have still been doing a lot of research about getting it when we move next month. The big reason to get DirectTV is for the NFL Sunday Ticket which I’ve been wanting to get since I left South Florida seven years ago for my great life here in Chicago. I just miss the Dolphins. I’m also a big enough NFL freak that I’ll end up watching many games even if taped.
In searching the Sunday Ticket info on DirectTV’s site I came across the blurb that the 2009 season will be viewable to all Sunday Ticket SuperFan subscribers – that’s another upgrade that adds HD and mobile viewing – via the iPhone.
Yes, iPhone. So, even if I have to run an errand, visit relatives or friends, travel or even take a *cough* bathroom break *cough* I’ll be able to catch one, or many games on my iPhone.
Below is the description of the service or visit the page here.
